Dragon scales

Dragonscales - more of a legend outside Hellornia and the Grand Mountains, the only places where dragons existed and shed their scales. Used as money due to limited supply, and of course, as armor.

Lightweight, commonly translucent, producing iridescent hues in given colors under light, ringing like an amalgamation of glass and metal, tough, and highly resistant to heat and thunderfire. Was virtually never used outside Hellornia and Vaskitic cultures. Came in sizes from as small as fish scales to the size of a dinner plate.
